  • How much does Savvy cost?

    Savvy Sites pricing is based on the following monthly costs, paid annually.

    PRO = R890 per year – limited offer (standard price R1290 per year)
    PREMIUM = R1890 per year

  • Where can I get photos to use on my Savvy Site?

    Don’t have any good pictures to use? No budget for professional photography? Don’t fear, there are many free stock photography platforms to save the day. Alternatively, there are paid-for platforms such as Shutterstock where you can purchase photographs to suit your purpose. Just be mindful to read and follow their licensing conditions.

  • What is an action button, or 'call to action' (CTA)?

    Action buttons exist to make it easy for your customers to engage with you. It simplifies and emphasises the actions visitors can take on your Savvy Site. A well defined call to action (CTA) tells your visitors what to do next, making it more convenient than ever for visitors to turn into business leads.

  • Can more than one user manage my Savvy Site?

    Unfortunately, we do not have this functionality just yet. You can use shared login details for your account. However, we would caution you against sharing your login details with anyone else as we can not be held liable should someone change your password, edit, publish or delete your Savvy Site.

  • I forgot my login details, now what?

    On the login screen you will find a forgotten password link. Please follow the instructions and you will be able to reset your password. You will need access to your email inbox to reset your password.

  • Can I unpublish my Savvy Site?

    If you no longer want your Savvy Site to be accessible online, you will need to delete it. This can be achieved by accessing the online dashboard that you land on after logging in.

Editing your Savvy Site

  • How can I customise my Savvy Site?

    There are multiple ways to do this. We suggest you start by changing the Colour and Style of your website as well as adding content to the relevant section(s) when you have completed the onboarding process.

  • Can I edit my Savvy Site from a desktop?

    Of course you can! While Savvy is focussed on a mobile first editing experience to ensure that you can edit your site from anywhere, any time, you can still access all the goodies from your desktop as long as you have your login details on hand. We’ve also taken special care to ensure that your website will transition seamlessly from mobile to desktop for your users so you don’t need to worry about responsiveness. Edit from anywhere, look great everywhere. Happy editing.
  • Do I need to have all site components figured out before I can publish my Savvy Site?

    No, you don’t need to have it all figured out in order to set up your Savvy Site. We will ask you some questions to help you think of some elements in bite-sized bits, with the aim of reducing your overwhelm. You can also log back in at any time to add, edit or remove items from your Savvy site. In fact, we have gone the extra mile. With Savvy, you have the option to provide text yourself, or you can share short keywords or phrases with us and we will do the hard part of writing for you.
  • Can I make changes to my Savvy Site once I’ve published it?

    You can make changes to your Savvy Site as many times as you like, from wherever you are! Simply log in, click on the editor and edit your text, images and theme to achieve the Savvy Site of your dreams.

  • What should I write in my business description?

    Most of us find it hard to speak about ourselves and our business. When something is so close to home, we may find ourselves at a loss for words, wanting to do it ‘perfectly’, so we procrastinate doing it at all. Rest assured, your Savvy Site is fully editable, all the time. If you made a mistake or find better words later, you can easily edit and update your Savvy Site. Take a deep breath, and focus on some of the basics - you can always add your own sparkle to it later. Don’t forget to mention what you do, why you do it, what makes you great at it. In your description, you want your customer to recognise what is on offer, and what makes you better than the rest. If you have decades of experience or you live and breathe what you do - make that knowledge and passion clear as day.

  • How do I link my social media profiles to my Savvy Site?

    Add your social media links under Social Links the content block in the editor.

    The social media links we currently support are: Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, LinkedIn, X/Twitter, Spotify, SoundCloud and Youtube. With more getting added.

  • How do I change the theme of my Savvy Site?

    When you are in the Edit section of your Savvy Site, look for the Editor toolbar at the bottom of your screen with the following options Style, Colour, Content and Settings. From here, you can change your <Colour/Style(Theme)> to your desired choice.

  • How do I delete photos?

    There is a small trash can in the top right of any image on the site that will remove the image once you click on it.

  • How will my customers see my services and prices?

    We provide a Services section that you can complete to showcase your awesome services and add your prices if you see fit. Alternatively, you can provide a PDF as a link in the Action buttons section in the Content tab of the Editor toolbar.

  • Can I share my price list, menu, or services brochure on my Savvy Site?

    You can! You can upload images of your products and services, and share your price and product. Or you can use an action link to a document hosted online at a public URL like Google Drive, Dropbox or OneDrive. Display price lists for your services, a menu, your portfolio or a full service description.

  • Why are simple site links becoming so popular?

    A short, user-friendly link, a URL, is a simple way for customers to engage with your business on mobile. They're better than sending someone to a slow, complicated website where you're more likely to lose that lead due to a bad user experience. 

    A Savvy Site is different to other link in bio solutions because it's a 100% unique domain that you can use in social media and it can also rank in search engine results if your brand name and domain is unique enough. 

  • My Savvy Site won’t publish, what am I doing wrong?

    Have you checked your connection, checked your data and waited at least two hours since submitting for publishing and still not heard back from us? No problem, please reach out to us at support@savvy.site and we’ll direct your inquiry to our technical department to sleuth around and find out what’s blocking your Savvy Site from launching.

Domains and subdomains

  • What is a Savvy domain?

    Your Savvy Site comes with a free Savvy domain eg: yourbusinessname.savvy.site

    This is your unique web address where people can find your site. Also, we turn your Savvy domain into a QR code for you to use with your offline marketing. This is emailed to you when you publish your site.

    You can update your Savvy domain in Settings. If you update your Savvy domain, your QR code will also be updated. 

  • How do I change my Savvy Site's domain?

    You are welcome to change the Savvy subdomain at any time. We cannot guarantee that the subdomain you want will be available, however, so get in early. Go to Settings -> Domain to update it. Please note that once you claim a domain, it is yours. Should you decide to update your domain, your previous domain will become available to other users again and you won’t necessarily be able to revert back. Your QR code is a coded version of your subdomain.

  • Can I register a custom domain?

    Yes you can. Included in your Savvy Pro subscription is a free custom domain for a year.

eCommerce payments

  • Can I set up an eCommerce shop on my Savvy Site?

    Yes, we recommend using Payment Links from solution like Yoco, Paystack, SnapScan or iKhokha, you can create mobile-friendly payment URLs to your products or services on those platforms then add them to your Savvy Site

    You can upload images of your products and services, and share your price and product. You can also use an action link to direct your customers to any document hosted online at a publicly accessible URL like Google Drive, Dropbox or OneDrive. Examples of what you could link here would be price lists for your services, a menu, your portfolio or a full service description.

    You can also tap into the business functionality of connecting your Savvy Site to your WhatsApp business profile - giving your customers various options to get in touch with you and to secure sales or reservations.

    If you have an extensive product range and truly need the more complex functionality of eCommerce, a Savvy Site might not be suited for your needs at this time.   • How do I get the best from our AI text generator?

    All the hard work is taken care of and done for you. That said, the results are only as good as what you put in. So try to be concise, be descriptive and if there’s anything you really want the spotlight on, don’t forget to mention it. When selecting a tone, try to find a good match for your personality as this site should be an extension of yourself. Furthermore, think about your audience, who will be visiting your site and what sort of tone they’d like to read. Moms and senior citizens don’t want edgy, metalheads don’t want cute and cuddly.
