Who we are
We’re a team of software professionals that are passionate about building solutions that can help businesses to thrive. Our team has decades of experience working with businesses of all sizes. Talking to them, guiding them, and helping them to make informed decisions based on their goals.
The problem we found
Just before COVID, our parent company AUX STUDIO worked on a couple of projects that opened our eyes to the type of solutions that many small and micro businesses were being offered. The challenge is not uniquely South African, it is regional. We found that many solutions were over-priced, confusing and complicated. Old technology is widely prevalent. Large Saas companies and corporates dominate, with costs that are high or based in $USD – the solutions are not particularly focused on African needs either.
For small businesses, it's a difficult landscape to navigate. Solutions require a large financial or time investment. Solutions take weeks or sometimes months to complete. Not only that, but many solutions have painful surprise costs (looking at you WordPress) and then they are also slow and difficult to use on mobile, unless you employ an expert to further optimise them.
The truth is that many solutions are way too complex and have an out-dated approach or technology. It doesn't need to be this way.
